Several years ago, before I was married, I worked at an elementary school as a teacher's aide and in the afterschool program. One of the sweetest little girls was in pk-4. She was tiny, had the cutest bob haircut and was so soft spoken. Imagine my surprise when her mom contacted me for SENIOR portraits ;) Time goes by so fast....she now is still the sweetest girl just all grown up and on her way to college in the fall. Texas School Rocks!

This past week I attending the annual Texas School of Photography in Arlington, TX. All I can say is WOW!!! It's a week long conference full of learning, trade show (goodies to buy) and fellow photographers. My instructor was Ralph Romaguera from New Orleans who specializes in high school seniors. His class was also on studio management and lighting for studio and outdoors. By the second day my head felt like it was going to explode from all the new information!! On the last night we had a "shoot out" in Addison Park and each instructor had set up their models for a session. So, for two hours I walked around to each instructor and photographed using new techniques and knowledge learned over the week. I can not wait to attend next year!!!
