I very rarely post anything other than my sessions and thought I'd branch out a little and give you some insight to my life whether it be personal, movies, food, music etc. Music has always been influential in my life. It is a physical need for me....it calms me. I truly have eclectic taste ranging from Fleetwood Mac to Michael Buble' from Green Day to Debussy. Growning up I can remember being influenced my parents and family. From my dad.....America, The Beatles, Santana, The Mamas and the Papas, The Byrds From my mom....Abba, Michael Jackson, Hall and Oates, and Rod Stewart. And probably my most significant influence would be my aunt Sandra. My love for Fleetwood Mac, Heart and The Eagles started with her. So, it's not surprising that my dad's cousin's son (basically my third cousin?) has not only the love for music but amazing musical talent!!! Their new cd is enchanting and I can not wait to get mine! Check out Thus Far.

Little Boys Rock!!

This past weekend my cousin (who is like another sister) came down for a visit and asked me to photograph her family. I downloaded the images and rather than working on the family photos I fell in love with her boys portraits!! Often when I am editing and ordering prints from my client's sessions I want to hang them on my own wall. So imagine how happy I am that they are family and I can order one for me!! LOL

Metal is Hot

I had to order a metal print for myself. WOW! Metal Prints are the latest print option. Printing directly onto an aluminum surface produces rich, vibrant colors and gives a perception of depth to the image. No framing...it has metal brackets on the backside. It gives a contemporary look to your photo display and looks amazing with "urban" style images. I can't wait to show you!!

12x12 storyboard

Recently I have been thinking that I'd like to offer my clients a product that had multiple images and would be something unique. Usually during an ordering session there are 3-5 images that you love but don't necessarily want loose 5x7's. So, this is the 12x12 storyboard! It includes four images, and in the center will be a custom pattern. This would be a beautiful addition to your child's bedroom!

Vintage Summer

I loved this session!! I feel so lucky to have this job and truly thankful for all the wonderful people I get to meet and spend time with. The portrait of Nikki and Miss M has to be my favorite. Its magical to capture the bond between a mother and child.

This past weekend was my brother in law's wedding. Since this was going to be a big wedding with tons of friends and family we all hadn't seen in years I only brought my camera to catch some fun shots. No working for me :) It was absolutely beautiful and I ADORE my new sister in law!! Thank you again Matt and Liza for allowing myself and the hubby to be an important part of your wedding day! We love you both!!!

Our models...yes, triplets :) were wonderfully behaved although we didn't attempt to take images with all three precious girls....YET! My graduate

It's official my baby has graduated and is headed to first grade!! Time goes by so fast it seems like just yesterday my oldest was a newborn and I was in my early twenties lol I always document the boys birthday's with a mini photoshoot seeing that I never buy school pictures. So this is Noah's graduation/birthday photos.
